hey, i think your only 1/2 right... yes he is talking about a girl (but not necessarily a girlfriend)read the lyrics through as if u were a drug dealer... and the girl he is talking about is a client that makes a bodgy payment. ill explain later... 1st verse - he meets a girl and loves to sleep with her 'i like your pants around your feet' 2nd verse - he is getting to know her A.K.A. figuring her out (cokes up the song) do i really need to explain that.. read the verse carefully. This is a reference that she takes drugs 'powder on your nose' and that she is heavily addicted (which involves the anger in the song... ill explain later) 'to many long lines in a row' (i know that you know what that means) but when people have to much drugs, they green out and so pass out (i don't know if that happens with crack though) chorus - ill only explain this once (because it is repetitive) its pretty self explanatory. 'now i did, you wonder why' well wouldn't you wonder why if someone was snooping around you? *raises eyebrow* 3rd verse - 'i like the freckles on your chest' he just thinks she is hot. 'i love the way you like me best' that means that she has to do what he wants other wise she may not get her drugs off of him. IT must be hard to get because she wasn't impressed with his gear and he was put to the test to find some to sell to her. and the white stains on her dress could of ment a cum stain or she spilled a bit when she greened out on the deck. < it could have a sexual meaning. 4th verse - 'i love the way you pass the check' means she pays for it the drugs. 'i love the good times that you wreck' could also have 2 meanings. 1 she asks for it all at the wrong times or 2 she comes round high and makes a scene at the party. 'i love my hands around your neck' could mean he was angry when she tried to bye pay it off with a check or they are that sort of couple that like to choke each other when they are having sex (well he is) chorus - (look above) 5th verse - back to the 1st verse... think of it as the good side. 6th verse - refers back to the 2nd verse but he actually hates it all. he hates what he done, what a mess he has made. chorus - (above) now ill tell you the story hidden in the lyrics of this song... (think of the scene at a party somewhere were they are alone)she paid him in a check but had to beg for it because it was so hard for him to get and because its not cash.they agreed that he is able to have his way with her (explains the sex side of it)thats when he notices the freckles on her chest. He never got a good lot of it so she was not showing him self respect because because of what she had to go through to get it. she pased out on the deck after having to much crack and spilled some on her dress (or the white got on her dress when they had sex) |
