Im pretty sure Simon is talking about the sweet "Mary Jane" (Marijuana) "I'd ease myself down, Comin' up brown." "Brown Sugar" often use as slang for Hashish, remember the Rolling Stones song? weed makes you relaxed and fuzzy in the head, nonsens and weird talk. Simon is defeintly smoking something. and its all about food muffins, cornflakes and jam he is having munchies... "I prefer boysenberry More than any ordinary jam.
