Bruce Springsteen – Working on a Dream Lyrics 15 years ago
Sure the boss could do better, but this song with its near-poor simplicity does not belie its brilliance. On the contrary I think it's another great piece of his, simple, but goes straight deep into my heart. I guess that's where the magic lies.

Chris Rea – Looking For The Summer Lyrics 15 years ago
I think summer means love with burning passion and ultimate desire, and springtime is the mellow callow sweet but quite harmless period between the lovers. springtime is ever so great but it inevitably leads to summer ("the eyes take on a certain gaze, and leave behind the springtime days"), as the lovers yearns for more and more from each other, and the desires hurt each other ("to play the passion out that haunt you so").

so overall it is the artist's perception of love, that in different phases it can be compared to spring and summer, and when love becomes too strong, it burns the lovers and destroys love itself.

Stevie Nicks – Leather and Lace Lyrics 17 years ago
one of the greatest duet ever. the lyrics is so poetic and yet so true. not one bit of hypocricy in there, like a lot of songs do. this song is just a artful expression of truthful facts, sung by two great artists in a somewhat sad but honest and beautiful way......i hope i made some point.

Stevie Nicks – Stop Draggin' My Heart Around Lyrics 17 years ago
Stevie really outdoes herself with this song. Like always, it's full of passion and emotion. It's one of the few great songs that inspires vivid flashbacks in our mind, some maybe never lived. Tom Petty did his part great, the two really set a height in duet performing.

Stevie Nicks – Rooms on Fire Lyrics 17 years ago
One of the best of Stevie nicks. She sings it with so much passion and emotion, it's almost irrisistable. And I love the lyrics... it's like a poem to me. "She had trusted many...But been unfamiliar with...Almost everyone but you".........."Well maybe I'm just thinking that the rooms are all on fire, Everytime that you walk in the room".........it's so well and elgantly expressed. I love it. a bit of surprise finding not many people commented on this one.
