I saw Matthew John perform this in Helsinki, Finland...it was sooooo beautiful. He said that the bee was a symbol for life or death (I can't remember exactly what he said), and in some way related to the Finnish Kalevala. The comment by Hippybuggsgirl seems accurate...He said it was on the surface about walking from a cemetery to a train station, and thoughts in the head during the walk. Great song! |
