It's just a great big shut up to depression and people who moan about life. At first i thought the garden was a pathetic rhyming mechanism (and still think they could have done better) but now i think it represents someone moaning about how they feel 'down' when "Maybe I just want to fly". And saying you're gonna "live forever" is just a blunt contradiction to everyone who jam packs their lives with worry and who concentrate on the negative aspects. That said, what a song for a rich rockstar to sing when he knows that he doesn't have any problems to deal with. |

| My impression just from the overview of the lyrics is that the song is taking a stab at people who are indecisive in messy or pointless relationships. the protagonist repetitively slags the girl off and then apologises imidiately after and asks her to blame him for any mistakes. It's a case of a lusting relationship where the guy is infatuated with the girl but cant be bothered to break up with her for good because she's too goddamn irresistable. However she's bad for him and hurts him. | |
