It's about LSD. Nothing more, nothing less. The lyrics mean everything that you feel and the song describes it in perfection. -The handshake, you've sealed the deal, you've put it on your tounge, there is no turning back. -"You convinced yourself that you want it, but you don't know You keep trying to wash the blood from your hands, but it won't go" Its true, if you've used acid, like i have, you'd know that its an amazing experience, and later, you'll want to do it again, but you're not sure, because you know how much it fucks your brain (excuse my language). -"It tastes like death, but looks like fun" couldnt be more true, when you're on the drug, you eventually get a kind of, sick feeling at the back of your throat, everyone does, and yes, it tastes like death during that. And, clearly, looks like fun. -"It would only take a few seconds of darkness to figure out what's in store" the most meaningful part of the song, (to me), because it doesnt matter how many times you've done holidays you put that tiny bit of paper on your tounge, you know whats in store, and you're filled with concern, anxiety, excitement, everything. -" I'm sorry to be rude, but the people thinking that its about a record label company, that's really shallow thought. This song is deep, REALLY deep, i've never heard songs by a band that are so meaningful. |
