| i think this song is definetly about suicide. i know someone who commited suicide and i can really relate to how hailey was feeling about it. and how she just want to know why they did it. and she wishes they just could have tried to fix things before they commited suicide. and also she is saying that she is going to make sure she lives her life to the fullest now. long live the car crash hearts. | |

okay i know this is really late. but i have only recently become really into nirvana. and i think this song is about knowing your different, and loving it. but you pretend your not for the sake of society. but there is one person who you will show your true self to. and more than anything you want that person to love you, and help you through life. "We'll float around And hang out on clouds Then we'll come down And have a hangover" this part is reffering to what you want in the future. you will have a good relation ship. it will be fun and easy. but then it will end, for some reason, and then you will have a "hangover". like if you got so drunk, and had so much fun, then you wake up the next day with a pounding headache thinking "oh man that was fun, but this sucks" "i think in dumb, or maybe just happy" this means that you love the person, and you love loving them. you think your dumb for doing it because the feeling you get is so....rediculous.. that it seems unreal. but then you realise that this is what happines feels like. extreme and utter happiness that you have never felt before. I could be totally off. i have no idea what kurt meant when he wrote it. but this is what it means to me. |
