i think the song has a few meanings, the first about how humans religion has caused so many deaths through war-"into a riverbed that drowns about, as much as it saves" and that faith in science is more realistic than creation-"we will never answer where we came from only how we got here" as in we know how we evolved but not if there is a god And there is no proof of a god so wars over who or if there is an almighty creator exists are pointless and humans have evolved negatively in many ways "convinced the grass is greener on dry earth" |
