woww i can relate to this so much. so i have this friend and he's always saying how horrible of a person he is. even though he really is an amazing person. he doesn't have a drinking problem or anything he just thinks he doesn't deserve his happiness. cause he has a great life. his only problem is that he thinks badly of himself sometimes. and if he could just see himself through my eyes he would finally see how great of a person he is. i tell myself that i don't deserve my happiness sometimes too. and this same friend tells me how great of a person i am all the time. and i can't see how he can think that of me but think badly of himself. and it's really hard to see him bashing himself. i wish he would just believe me when i tell him how great he is. but i don't think he does. but the hardest thing is i think i know exactly how he feels cause i feel the same way sometimes too. i just don't know how he can think that of himself |
