| Personally I don't give a toss about a band member's personality I just listen to the music. | |

Personally, I think it has a small religious side to it. "I pity the fools that don't recognise the rules, cannot cheat the reapers reap and that is the end of that" The fools are people in religion that think there is an afterlife. The lyrics say no, death is the end of it(that is the end of that), and nothing happens you just rot in a grave. And have you ever got those religous leaflets that say 'ted ate healthily, he went to the gym, was kind to everyone, but died because he did'nt believe in God? The song just says balls to that. It's also expressing how sick the guy is of all the stuff getting shoved down our throats by the NHS. Like 'eat five a day' and 'never have more than a small glass of wine'. It says you should really enjoy life, because death can happen to you any time and eating healthily and religion can't control it. Also I love the song, one of my favourites by the Kaisers. |

| Rocket from the Crypt – Short Lip Fuser Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Pretty sure it's from the viewpoint of an aggresive husband and how he treats his wife - "One of these days you're gonna get beat","Where's my dinner?".He becomes potentially abusive at the most trivial things like losing $10 on horse betting.Good on RFTC for highlighting domestic abuse as a theme,it aint exactly regularly used in song lyrics. | |
