Slater could be referring to himself. The entire song cuold be about being away on tour and being sexually frustrated, and he himself is "Slater" and because he has a loved one back home, he's not getting action. But the frustration is killing him and he can't keep resisting. Which would explain the "You gotta mouth like a razor-blade, it cuts so deep. So kiss my wrists my neck and give me eternal sleep. " And "So line my throat with lipstick and leave my blood for flies. Ill gurgle the blues under a sea of lies. " The lipstick is the remain of the kiss "like a razorblade" which killed him, the blues are about being sad, or guilt, lies could be about him NOT cheating=] Simples! |
