| Every Time I Die – Romeo A Go-Go Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I think this song is more about Keith writing songs about different circumstances that didn't really happen in order to impress the audience. For instance, in "Floater" he talks about committing suicide, even though he obviously hasn't killed himself. He does all this in order to be loved and get fans ("everybody's dying to lay down with you"). | |

| Pretty sure this song is about plastic surgery. | |
| The Fall of Troy – Shhh!!! If You're Quiet, I'll Show You A Dinosaur Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
I think it's sort of a point of view from the ever prevalent drugs on the album but personified. It is in reaction to the main character (I'm assuming a girl) trying to quit. "Back and forwards, you think I'll stand beside you?" - She thinks the drugs will always be there for her, but that isn't the case "Don't try to say anything baby. Stitched up your lips to constrict languages... That bite at your tongue... " -not sure but I'm guessing she gets so strung out that she can't talk very well. "Get up and kick up a storm. Sit up and pin up the whore! " -If she tries to do anything about the addiction it becomes to difficult, she feels pinned down. "Exhale the pressure, provide a source..." -taking the drugs because it is easier "Straight to the bloodstream, blistered and sore..." - blistered and sore from all of the abuse "I'll stay silent while my mind grows violent." - The dangers of the drug aren't prevalent until it's too late "Wide eyes, tearing up!" -wide eyes referring to being high and tearing up is her realizing it's too late "Honey I think it's time to see... YOU'RE MINE!!! STICK'EM UP!!!" obviously it's too late to do anything about it now, or that's what it wants her to think "Such a pretty face, such a shame that it's not gonna smile today!" she's not even going to enjoy getting high anymore(smiling) aaaaaaaaaaand that's about it. oh and also it explains the title. the drugs will "show her a dinosaur" if she stays "quiet" (read: complacent) |

Pretty sure this song is about losing religion and the feeling of disconnection you get along with it. Also, how most people only choose to believe in a god for fear of death. |

| Gorillaz – Rhinestone Eyes Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I've always thought this song was about his relationship with fans and how being so famous sort of makes him distance himself from them. Everyone's afraid of his fame even though they're the ones who made him who he is. The rhinestone eyes would be the reflection of lights in the crowd's eyes at a concert. And he feels that they're just like factories far away in that he never really sees them, apart from at shows, and his only relationship with them is for them to buy his music (to make more plastic for the tower, I suppose.) | |
| Gorillaz – Superfast Jellyfish Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I think you're on the right track, especially since 4 and 6 on this album are Rhinestone Eyes and this song. | |
| Pink Floyd – Breathe Lyrics | 15 years ago |

has anyone else noticed the similarities between the lyrics: for long you live and high you fly and smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry and all your touch and all you see is all your life will ever be and the lyrics of eclipse? |
|
| Pink Floyd – Eclipse Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| When there is an eclipse the part of the moon we see becomes the "dark side" of the moon, don't know what has been said but a lot of the stuff I was going to say has already been said | |
| The Fall of Troy – Cut Down All the Trees and Name the Streets After Them Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I don't really know how to put in words what I think this song is about but generally what helps me figure out meanings of songs is to think of them like you're you're watching a movie and the song is telling a story. It helps when the songs is actually telling a story too (like Macaulay McCulkin or Ghost on the Horizon). |

| The Fall of Troy – We Better Learn to Hotwire A Uterus Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Just a piece on the assembly line floor. It's like the piece never made it off the assembly line or like a baby never made it out of the womb. | |
| The Fall of Troy – Macaulay McCulkin Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
this kind of reminds me of The Cask of the Amontillado. like he was insulted because she forgot his name and now he's trying to kill her also, in this song i want to think the music itself tells the story too not just the lyrics though |

| The Fall of Troy – Tom Waits Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| oh i didnt see your post when i made mine lol | |
| The Fall of Troy – Tom Waits Lyrics | 17 years ago |

i always thought the name of this song used 'waits' like a verb (like "tom is waiting", tom waits) and i thought it was a reference to the first chapetr of huck finn which (in some copies) has a part called "tom sawyer waits" sorry if you couldn't follow tht lol it's confusing |

| Tool – The Eggs of Satan Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| i honestly just think because the person speaking is adamant about "no eggs" so its almost like a joke calling them the eggs of satan | |

really it does sound like a cat if you put a ton of echo and distortion and slowed it it down alot. at some point on the song you can hear a low rumble like a purr or growl. although i do believe it is meant to sound like choking if it is a follow up to ticks and leeches |

| The Fall of Troy – F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| this song is about a girl trying to get him to have sex (or at least something to that effect) and he's saying no because if he says yes it would mean he's saying "no regrets" so literally this is his one chance to take back "no regrets". and the second verse he's looking forward at all the bad stuff will happen. | |
| The Fall of Troy – Whacko Jacko Steals the Elephant Man's Bones Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| lol di anyone else notice the shhhhhh and then fast breathing at like 3:52 (its on the doppelganger version i dont think it's on the self titled version) | |
| The Fall of Troy – Ex-Creations Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think it's possibly about tellling someone to get off drugs too many times and he's basically said "fuck it, go ahead and kill yourself on drugs." | |
