I believe this song is based on an actual location. It's a prostitute house. Given that information, it's pretty obvious as to what the song is about. Matt's singing about how "he" went there and regrets it very much. He's saying be warned that it's a terrible place and to keep people away from it. The cover has a lot more emotion and strength to it than the original, I think. Muse really makes it their own! That's my opinion anyway! :) |

I love this song so much! Very upbeat and original. I sort of see this from someone who thinks time is moving way too fast. So fast it's painful: "Feels just like your feet on broken glass." Also another person is mentioned...a friend or lover perhaps? Anyway, the person wants to spend as much time as possible with them, but the mornings are slipping away and so is the person. I find it odd though that the song itself is so catchy and quick, but the lyrics are almost sad and full of longing... Thanks for posting! :) |
