i love this song, one of my top 5 favourite oasis songs! i too go for bigrobbo2006's interpretation of it, but i also think its to do with someone he's in love with and he's asking in a way, do you love me enough to stick by him through everything.. but then again, is this song not dedicated to John Lennon? So i also have to go with laziku to. my favourite line out of this song is "You gotta keep on keeping on" i dunno it just always sticks out in that song..and its a true choice of words.. |

is this song not about unconditional love, apparently he wrote it for his mother.. this song is by far my all time favourite song..ever since i can remember and i just fail to find another that makes me feel the same way i feel when i listen to this. |

"You'll find it in the words of others A simple line can make you laugh or cry" Those two lines stick out everytime I hear that song..it's one of my favourite songs ever, if not my best, and hearing it live reduces me to tears everytime.. I think it's about being happy in life, and love, whether its unconditionally or falling for someone it's what makes you complete and it's the best feeling ever. I also love this verse - "So, impossible as it may seem You've got to fight for every dream Cos who's to know which one you let go Would have made you complete" |
