I agree that the song is about being in a relationship with a depressive. And i've been on both sides, she has so perfectly written this song. I know what it is to be struggling with your boyfriend/girlfriend being depressive and ending up leaving.. But i know what it is to be the depressive. This song is beautiful. |

Triple J tells me that Ben lived in Australia (Adelaide) when he was married to an australian woman named Frally Hynes, they were married in 1999 (and had the twins, Gracie and Louis) two months later... But Ben and Frally seperated in 2006 and divorced in 2007 (i think) which is when he moved back to the states. ... music geek input.. ^_^ |

Ok.. so i knowwww that you all seem to think its nonsense.. which makes me feel a bit silly. But when i listen to this song, the lyrics remind me of "beautiful people" or celebrities who are always in the public eye.. "and we slow to acknowledge the knots in the laces" (everything about them is judged) "i bought it in a can and stirred it with my fingers do it out the window lately you've been tan, suspicious for the winter looks like little splinters" (again, judging them) I feel silly hahahaha |
