Radiohead – Idioteque Lyrics 17 years ago
This song, when I first heard it, just struck me as cool. That was it. Most Radiohead stuff is carefully crafted and woven together, but Idioteque is, while still quality, just a "screw it, we're awesome" song for me. It always makes me happy when I hear it. And the fact that it's Uryu Ishida's song (from Bleach) makes it even more awesome.

Radiohead – I Will. (No Man's Land.) Lyrics 17 years ago
I agree with you about the music- purely lovely. I also like Thom's voice in this song, because he's not in his falsetto. I love it both ways, but I also admire that he can sing well either way. Not like Chris Martin, unfortunately. Coldplay's only good song where Chris sings lower than usual, in my opinion, is Amsterdam.

And this song sorta sounds like "See You Soon" by them... hmm...

Radiohead – I Might Be Wrong Lyrics 17 years ago
This whole song sounds like someone being put back in their place to me- like they were on top of the world and they've just realized they're going to fall. Like Orpheus in Inkdeath...

Radiohead – Motion Picture Soundtrack (Kid A version) Lyrics 17 years ago
The greatest thing about Radiohead's obscure lyrics and intricate melodies is that they leave room for everyone to interpret as they will. Even Thom doesn't know what he's singing sometimes (see his comments on "The Eraser").

Radiohead – Motion Picture Soundtrack (Kid A version) Lyrics 17 years ago
This song sounds like going back to reality to me. It's giving up the battle of trying to float above everything and falling back down to the earth. This song is great insulation for falling. I wish the main song was longer. I'm always surprised and mad when it ends (:

Radiohead – A Wolf at the Door (It Girl. Rag Doll) Lyrics 17 years ago
Radiohead. Love them.

I like how he broke out of his falsetto a bit on the Hail to the Thief album (tied with Kid A to be their best in my opinion). 'Wolf at the Door', 'Myxomatosis' and 'There There' are my favorites on 'Hail'.

This song always makes me think of everyone helpless and trapped in the world, physically or otherwise. Everyone's got something pinning them down. It sounds like he's giving in to it at the end because he'll be able to finally sleep then and I'm not sure if I hate him for not playing the hero (it's a song!) or love him for playing the human (he's not).

Is it odd that this song also serves as something of a theme song for me and my two best friends...? We like to sing it loudly and publicly.

Radiohead – Weird Fishes/Arpeggi Lyrics 17 years ago
Radiohead is always great at wiping the world away when you don't want to see it. Ironic, because when you do you only have to look at some of their lyrics...

This song is one of my favorites from this band (that isn't saying much... I have my Song of the Day and my Radiohead song of the day) because it's so calming. To me it's just saying that everything will fade away after awhile, so enjoy it while you can and float through the sunlit shallows of the ocean, notice every scale of the other fish. "Weird Fishes" never makes me sad, though, or happy, either. It just puts me in a sort of Radiohead Peace- of- Mind- Coma.

"Kissing Families" -Silversun Pickups
"Cowboy" -Sugarcubes
