| The Helio Sequence – Hallelujah Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I have been really stuck on this song because I feel it defines how most everyone on the planet feels about religion. First it talks about those who did not believe and how they felt down. Then it talks of eyes looking down at them. The eyes are either gods eyes or the people who do believe. The judgment I believe are the eyes and why they said "Not at all." I have no idea. But no one heard them. The people proclaim they wrote a book. A book that everyone could relate to. Everyone then took the book and arranged it in a way that they specifically agreed with. Everyone believed their version of the book was correct. They all looked up to the sky's to look for god to tell them they were right. And everyone who who did believe said hallelujah. That's what I got from it mostly. This song tells me that those who look for answers are the ones who will never find them. I believe this songs simply states that when it comes to things like religion or faith it is up to the person to not look to the heavens but inside themselves. Ask themselves if there is something else and if yes then rejoice because you accept that there will always be unanswered questions. And this can free you. If no then you must work to do the same. Accept the unanswerable questions. And even sadder than those who cannot find contempt in faith and acceptance are those who do believe but still want the un-answerable questions answered. These people will search the stars and moons and find nothing. |

| Her Space Holiday – The Year in Review Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Her love lies in a hospital bed With tubes and wires that keep him fed And when the lights go green to red She whispers: "I wish that I could take your place Because I dont think that I could stand to sleep Inside of our wedding bed Without your kisses and your freezing feet Or getting dressed inside a closet Filled with your old clothes 1,000 picture frames screaming out Hes not coming home," Ok lets get this straight, I never cry. I didn't cry at my grandparents funeral next to my brother as he died or even when my mom left me. These lyrics here make me cry everytime I hear them. I cry like a baby. |

| Her Space Holiday – The Heartbreak Moment Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Can't believe no commented yet. I love this song. It has a happy shell but a sad core. It talks of having fun being with someone but knowing it wont last. The only way to preserve a moment is to take a picture but even that cant stop time from taking these moments away. | |
| Bishop Allen – Butterfly Nets Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I just broke up with someone I'm still in love with and this song describes exactly as I feel. Except the waiting awhile part. I would wait forever if I had to. | |

| Akira Yamaoka – You're Not Here Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I'm pretty sure the song is about her and her dad. But I could be wrong. I love the comparison of love to a drug. The withdrawal of not getting it after having a constant supply is very much like going through withdraw. Over all the song freaking rocks and is one of my favorites. | |

| He adopted her so he kinda did meet her. | |
| Akira Yamaoka – Room of Angel Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| More than any other part of this song I feel the piano. Try and find the piano version of it without the girl singing and you will see what I mean. If you have played the game its obvious what the lyrics are about. Its about Walters feelings for his mother who abandoned him. Its appears that he is giving her a lullaby to put her to rest. She has been dead for some time so maybe it represents his own want to put the thought of her to rest the song repeats a lot (I'm not complaining.) to me saying that he simply cant let it go. Repeating that he wants her to go to sleep and that he is still resentful for what she has done to him over and over. The contradiction is massive and shows just how strong of a song it is. I personally don't connect with the lyrics but I do get teary eyed by the feel of the song itself. Its a fantastic song and I can't stress how much you all should listen the solo piano version. | |
