well, before i read some of these comments this is what i thought: i thought that he had cheated on his girlfriend (it was only a kiss) and then they broke up and she is now with another man "It started out with a kiss How did it end up like this It was only a kiss, it was only a kiss"--- everyone else thought that this was refering to *her* with another man (and now i realize that they are probably right) but i thought that it was referring to him with another girl and then saying that it was *only* a kiss and that he didn't mean for anything more to happen, but he was too late and his girlfriend found out "Choking on your alibis"-- i thought that this referred to him not being a good liar when his girlfriend found out and then he was totally busted but now that i read the comments i got a new perspective and i found out that i was completely wrong after all he basically killed a girl, and "Choking on your alibis" refers to him having a hole in his alibi, causing him to spend time in jail. then he gets out of jail "coming out of my cage".. he was hoping to get back together with his ex, but she moved on, leaving him feeling jealous and betrayed. |

well i think this song is absolutely amazing first of all i think the significance of the time and date might be the day her boyfriend left. like pt_star said, this song is about a boy who stopped loving her but she doesn't want him to leave, so maybe the time and date is when he ended up leaving her. this song basically shows how their relationship is falling apart but she is hanging on and she doesn't want him to leave this song is amazing and incredibly powerful and i think juliet simms is *amazing* and her music is really great <3 |
