| Clinic – Distortions Lyrics | 15 years ago |

i thought this song was about a guy who is in hospital, possibly dying but no-one will tell him. 'your sister came to bait me' may be about the will, i don't know. he keeps thinking of death imagery, and wants the sickness out of him. and i also think it is 'i leave cues' at the end of the chori. |

| of Montreal – Plastis Wafer Lyrics | 17 years ago |

The first line is an allusion to 'Chekhov's gun'. The playwright Chekhov said that if a revolver is introduced in a play or even hangs on a wall, it must go off later in the play. i.e. everything in a play or work of art has to have a point, otherwise leave it out. I'm not sure how this relates to the song, maybe Kevin means he knows that she'll definitely "go off" later, with a bang i'm assuming. |

I don't know how everybody's missed this but it's definitely: "All my wicked dreams have turned my head to wet concrete" "I love wicked wisdom half turn my at two wet come free" makes absolutely no sense and of Montreal often don't have the title of the song in their lyrics so it doesn't need to be 'wicked wisdom'. |
