Translation: KBG Meyer, give me a kiss Give me a new spring It boils in the undeground We dance hard like a steam roller We blow out through the bars in manchole cover We knock you out when we think you've got enough Oh Meyer, give me a kiss Give me a new spring And I have read the manual, I know my ABC Everything is relative, it depends on who's looking You can take one phone call and I'll never get a job here again But I know that I have employment in KGB It's not over until the fat lady is singing You know it's something going on when my fathers chair is swinging Read the writing on the poster Look who's now walking in your street It's not over until the fat lady is singing |

| Kaizers Orchestra – Bøn Fra Helvete Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I'm Norwegian, and I tried to translate this song :P Bøn fra helvete - Prayer from hell The sun is in zenith and the head hangs low In the mines on 16 are we in the same boat By the foot of the mountain you can see me walk in measure with chains around my neck, year after year Everything we let down in the shaft of gold and green emerald ends right on Henry's lap, it's been told It doesn't drip on us. We don't need no potter because Henry is not a priest and none of us are bell ringers Not even God can hear us when we pray from hell Ivan started to run but he never came back Many before him have tried to take Henry's life And the rumour tells that he who stands with the whip is in sharp contrast with a certain christian We have lived in the mines on 16 for four years but as soon as the chance bids, I'll get out I hope you understand some more now, even though I can't write this lyrics in the same depth in English as it is in Norwegian.... To me it sounds like it's telling a story of some slave workers who work for some corrupt authorities. |
