Clap until your hands hurt Standing ovations or boos Wa-wa-watch us until we blur Walk off into the sunset Tell rock and roll I'm alone again I wanna put the Midwest home again You time has passed, they say never means never So the fresh stares wont last but never means forever Never means forever Alpha dog and oh-oh-omegalomaniac-aaaaac Alpha dog and oh-omega-megalo Welcome to the new déjà vu I can almost see the wizard through the curtains Alpha dog and oh-oh-omegalomaniac-aaaaac We must have the best coach Tell the best jokes We must make it hard to look so easy Doing something so hard You must see my way They scream when they look at me I'm a, I'm a star I'm a, I'm a star I'm a star Oh, I'm a star Alpha dog and oh-oh-omegalomaniac-aaaaac Alpha dog and oh-omega-megalo Welcome to the new déjà vu I can almost see the wizard through the curtains Alpha dog and oh-oh-omegalomaniac-aaaaac You're not the first Or the last But you're possible the prettiest, whoa Hes a fighter Past his prime Hes in the gutter waving his hand I'm just fine You're not the first Or the last But you're possible the flirtiest, whoa Hes a fighter Past his prime Hes in the gutter waving his hand |

What is all this shit about them breaking up?! They're taking a break from their label, which means they won't be recording or writing any new songs or anything. They're seriously not breaking up... the word break should be banned from the music industry unless you are GENUINELY breaking up because it just causes stupid rumours like this! To clarify, FALL OUT BOY ARE NOT BREAKING UP. Thank you. P.S: This song is fucking awesoooome! |

| Paramore – Careful Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I think this song is about the problems Paramore faced last year.. the whole album generally appears to be about them almost breaking up and then getting back together. Hence, I think that "the truth never set me free" means that Hayley telling the band how she felt got her nowhere, so she had to do something else, most likely writing these songs about them. The whole song has connotations about their break up. brand new eyes is just too amazing! |

| Lady GaGa – Christmas Tree Lyrics | 16 years ago |

"I`m spending christmas cheer" should be "I'm spreading Christmas cheer" This song is so sick though. It's actually really funny and I love it haha. I have no shame in liking it :D |

I've got a feeling it's "fabulous and glamorous" rather than "popular". Regardless, I love this song. It's so catchy and so true :D |

| Enter Shikari – All Eyes On The Saint Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I love this song. Did you know Rou went outside in the dead of the night in just his boxers and got the others to throw water on him while he recorded "and it's cold outside"? Now that'd dedication! haha Btw, I know it's just a typo but I thought I'd point out that "As the executioner raised his as his axe," is just "as the executioner raised his axe." Apart from that, perfect :D |

Mate, I'm zzzonked absolutely spent I think I'm gonna give my eyes up for rent ?? And with an icy cold stare I'll hide boys in your bed Mate, put (??) this invitation so I can take you away 'cause there's a one in forty thousand chance the asteroid above this will collide with the earth in less than twenty years (oh my god!) Roll up for the (??) business Instead of staring at your Stella desperately for inspiriation Belt up and quaver at your indignation I ain't say anything that could be construed as an apology There's another case study for anthropology I know, let's announce embargoes and denounce our far-throws Ingrowing egos, a syntax he knows It's just distance that separates us or are we really ethnocentrically inclined? Mate, what the fuck are you on about? This isn't draconian law I protest I protest Then something to do with "the sqaut is wrecked?".. I don't know. It gets confusing after that haha |

| Enter Shikari – Juggernauts (Album version) Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Shit, this song is so good. Does anyone else feel like this fits perfectly with Fanfare For The Conscious Man? I love this song so much, it's another one of their songs that makes me shiver because of the lyrics. I think it's about how messed up the world is at the moment and how segregated everyone is because of war and other differences. It's a strong song man. Goood Enter Shik never fail to amaze me. |

| Enter Shikari – Hectic Lyrics | 16 years ago |

the first verse is something to do with being in a park with your friends, which fits with the reference to drinking from a puddle of white lightening because thats a popular cheap cider that a lot of kids buy cause its so cheap and its part of british youth culture getting drunk in parks. "and it seems like nothing now will ever change, and it seems like we're on our own again" the speaking bit is something to do with sega megadrive and playing sonic all day, and making rhymes in the corner with a pint of the finest scrumpy jack, and the latest big club track. so hard to understand though. this is definitely one of the best songs on the album though, such a great sound and the "we're o-o-on our own a-ga-ain" makes me shiver. |

| Enter Shikari – Wall Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Dude a lot of these lyrics are wrong. "Screw shelves into you and call you a wall" "This is no white abode" (reference to Sorry you're not a winner) "You can have skirting board shoes and plug sockets on your knees" It's "trying to keep people inside" both times, and it's "sordid" not "sorded." "To find corruption and mystery" Also I think it's "have you seen the tide?" cause on one of them you can really hear the D at the end. "What's your thoughts on tensions rising?" instead of "watch your thoughts all ____ rising" |

| The All-American Rejects – Mona Lisa (When The World Comes Down) Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I saw these guys live the other night (absolutely amazingly awesome I have to say :D) and when they performed this, Tyson sang "you can come inside me when the world comes down" on the last line. Strange, eh? |

It sounds like preach on manic street to me, a reference to the band Manic Street Preachers probably. I definitely hear the m. |

| Fall Out Boy – Lake Effect Kid (Demo) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I really wanted this song to be on Folie a Deux ): But yeah, it's definitely "Til lake shore drive comes back into focus" not "til life's on track comes back into focus". Also, I'm not sure it's "I get the key for loving her". I'm sure he says "kid" not "key", because I definitely hear the D, but I'm not sure. And I also thought it was "until I hit it big" not "until I eat big." :/ |

'even the young ones become irrelevant' could this mean even the young soldiers that die are just forgotten because so much death is going on? |

| Fall Out Boy – ALPHAdog and OMEGAlomaniac (Demo) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Man, I'm so upset that this and Lake Effect Kid aren't on the new album. This song and especially Lake Effect Kid are awesome. It wouldn't have hurt to have two extra tracks :/ And Pete lies! He says 'you'll have to wait for the rest of that' at the end but now it looks as if it'll never be released properly. Sigh. |

| Fall Out Boy – 20 Dollar Nose Bleed Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I agree with Shae2Saturn and Ifritx111. I think this does make sense and that Pete did know what he was talking about, about a taxidermy being false and fake. However, I think also that "The taxidermy of you and me" could be the memories of whoever the you and me are. Like, the taxidermy would be what is left of them, the outside of their relationship; the image, with none of the deep proper stuff left. |

I think SUbstance D's interpretation about the title and the whole benzedrine thing they have going on is correct. And of course the whole of the second verse is about Bush. "It feels like 14 carats but no clarity When I look at the man who would be king The man who would be king goes to the desert to sing war his dad rehearsed came back with flags on coffins and said we won, oh, we won" 14 Carats because Bush is so dolled up; expensive suits, expensive cars etc, but no clarity because this is all pointless and meaningless to his job. And the next bit is obviously about the war during Bush Sr.'s reign, the desert being Persia/Iraq. I think the whole thing is to do with war and a soldier's lifestyle. "Please send me back, please send me back" Send me back home, I don't want to be at war. "Permanent jetlag" supports this too. The soldiers are always tired and everything. And the first line "Have you ever wanted to disappear? and join a monestary Go out and preach on manic street" I think this is referring to the soldier wanting to be anywhere but at war, and saying how war is wrong. A monestary being a place that's totally against war and preaching on manic street about how war is wrong. "Stray dog sick" being a lost, hurt soldier. Then of course "the wonderful feeling" being the benzedrine drug taking effect. As for the last speech.. well, I'm clueless. But I would like to add that I love Brendon Urie on this song :D His vocals are great and he sounds great with Patrick. |
