| The Fall of Troy – Oh! The Casino!? Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| So according to Thom at their reunion show it's an ode to a deceased friend of the band. The song's similar to a Weezer song because it was a shared favourite band of him and the band | |
| Between the Buried and Me – Ad a Dglgmut Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| Except that "Little makes sense"......makes no sense in the context of that part of the song. | |
| The Naked And Famous – Girls Like You Lyrics | 14 years ago |

Corrections, from the official lyric book: *How could you dance if no one was watching And you couldn't even get off the floor? *How would you deal with the empty decisions *Everything you say is fire All the claims you lay you liar |

| The Receiving End Of Sirens – Epilogue Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I think the hidden track is a contrast. You've got the monotonous, robotic vocal parts singing "we're all marionettes"; but there's also the melodic choir - which could represent the heart, asking the brain who's really pulling the strings. | |
| Genghis Tron – Things Don't Look Good Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Something to do with humanity ruining the Earth, and that we'll never be able to stop? | |
| M83 – Dark Moves of Love Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
It is my belief that the album is a person's dream. "You, Appearing" is the prologue in which this person see an old love's (pressumably) face, and slips into dreaming of their time as a teen. This track is about the person waking up at the end of the album, and they don't want the image of their love's face to disappear; the person wants to stay in that time period or "fight the time and bring you back". I think this love of the person is the graveyard girl (I think it's her voice that appears in Highway of Endless Dreams too) Midnight Souls Still Remain is like a final dreamy reminiscence. |

| M83 – Couleurs Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| The lyrics are a bit "??" but the whole song for me sort of epitomises the party lifestyle of teens. I can just imagine kids with all those now-cringe-worthy hairdoes drinking booze, doing drugs, making out and stuff with this music. That's the picture it paints for me, anyway. | |
| M83 – You, Appearing Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| My personal interpretation is that the album is essentially a flashback of someone's youth, and this is the prologue - a person is somehow reminded of someone they loved in their teens, and they're getting lost in all the memories, perhaps feeling sad (save me)...and then the flashback begins. | |
| I Was a Cub Scout – Lucean Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I'm pretty sure the last line is actually "you cannot do wrong by me." | |
| In Flames – Pinball Map Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
The pinball refers to Sonic Spinball, and the "driver" is the person playing (or driving) the MegaDRIVE. "Who was sent to glorify?" - Who is the player chosen to complete this mind-boggling video game? "Before we injected this common pride" - "Injected" or "inserted" the cartridge into the machine, "common pride" meaning a common pass-time - ie video games "Pacified by the small things in life I wait for earthquakes to rearrange" - Whilst hunting for rings (the small things in life) to unlock the hidden stages, you need to wait to hit the button which triggers an earthquake in the pinball area to access more rings. "Wish I could rape the day, just something radical" - Wish I could conquer this tough game or "rape it", to get the top rank: RADICAL "I lack from superhighway thoughts Won't live as long as the city lights Soaked by underwater times Electric splash on a midnight drive" - This refers to how the player (vocalist) is bored of the traditional Sonic package of superhighways, and frustrating underwater levels (especially in S3+K when you enter the water whilst wearing a lightning shield and it disappears (aka: "electric splash"). He plays these games late at night on his MegaDrive ("midnight drive"). |
