I read an article where Ryan explained the song. He said it was about seeing a girl across the bar and wanting to go an talk to her, but at the same time knowing, just KNOWING (the way the article emphesised it), that she was going to fuck up your world. It's about knowing all that but not caring at the same time, just wanting to be in love (or in lust) even if you know that it's going to end badly. It's a very morbidly romantic sentiment and one Ryan is as good as anybody at making. The man's is brilliant. |
