I think that this song is about drugs and circularity. He is talking about the crack houses and heroine dens that addicts live in together. To a user these places are exciting and they want to go there, they would even "stand in line". He is also telling us that he as seen horrible things go on there. These places a fall apart after a because of crime and violence within the houses. The theme of circularity is shown by they fact that these crimes that end up tearing the house apart are fed by the addiction and desperation inside the houses. The point is that THE THING THAT BROUGHT THE PEOPLE TOGETHER TORE THEM APART. Thats extreme. |
