hahaha. you should really read about true socialism, plus obama's policies before you go calling anyone a socialist. yah the meaning of this song is pretty obvious. but when he says: " If you believe in redemption I'm calling to you from another dimension. " it just reminds me of like. the rapture or something. does anyone else get that? |

are you kidding?! this song is filled with so much symbolism, it's ridiculous. basically what he's saying is that each path has its end. but just because something is over, doesn't mean that the moment isn't significant. "But some times you've gotta hop the fence to see That all sidewalks must end eventually I sit still at the bottom of the sea Brainwaves chill I can see an enemy Sentient entity Let the spirit enter me Patient, pervasive, how I was meant to be" It's saying that it's okay to be at peace. The Flobots have more spiritual themes in platypus, and then they got to be a bit more political. |
