| MC Lars – The Roommate from Hell (feat. MC Chris) Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I love this song. "blasts death cab and devo, he's to emo to get crunk". and the images of satan hanging up mainstream rock posters is priceless. |

| MC Lars – Hot Topic Is NOT Punk Rock Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
This makes me laugh because its so true. All these little kids who shop at hot topic just so they can appear different don't seem to understand that by buying into the hot topic scene they become just like everyone else trying to find their way into a group. Punk rock isn't about buying your studded jacket or plaid pants so you can stand out. You just become part of another crowd. |

| The Vandals – Marry Me Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Haha, I love it. Marriage is so expected, you know? It's just another thing people are supposed to do. Go to college, get married, and pop out children. Well, I guess this is what happens when you get married just because your supposed to. But even without evaluating this song, its amazing. |

| Bad Religion – You Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Ok, being an athiest I think this song is about getting told that your going to hell for not believing. When people come up and say things like you'll rot in hell for not believing and whatever else they say, its just like oh well, I don't care. You can tell me I'm going to hell and god won't be happy with me, but that really isn't a consequence for me since I don't believe in it at all. But maybe that's just my interpretation. That's what I got from the "eternity my friend..." line, and the "I'm amazed at the hatred you can..." line, because religious people preach love and acceptance, but when they find someone to be a nonbeliever, they have no love or acceptance for that. At least in all my experiences, anyway... | |
| Bad Religion – A Streetkid Named Desire Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think it means that people don't think that much of him, but he doesn't really care. He knows that his crappy years, presumably high school, aren't going to be the best days of his life, they're not paradise, because paradise is "some other place" but he'll find something better eventually, things will look up before he dies. Oh, and I like the punk-fifteen in the morning part. | |
| Bad Religion – Come Join Us Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think its about religion. About how maybe people look for religion so much because they're scared of what's going to happen to them, because "evil abounds" and because they think its easier than just knowing your dead when you die. One of my friend's who is a christian (i'm an athiest) told me she couldn't not believe because it was too depressing to think that this is it, that right now is your whole life. I think of this song like that. People want to feel good, and if religion makes them feel good and like they have a place, "brethren", then that's fine for them. It's not for me though. I think that the song is just about why people flock towards religion. | |
| NOFX – Bottles To The Ground Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I might be totally wrong here, but I think its just about getting drunk. I love Nofx, and their lyrics tend to be pretty much straightforward. |
