Truely my favorite song by one of my favorite bands. A "perfect song" in my opinion(guitar, vocals, drums, overall sound). To me its kind of about procrastination. He knows he should be doing more important things yet he's out drinking ("i shouldn't even be here much less drinking myself into excess"), which i can relate to big time as a college student, lol. He's using drinking as an escape from all the worries he has in an way some would look upon as unhealthy (especially when you take their other songs into consideration). He doesn't want it to end so he won't have to deal with his problems (especially without getting some action out of it), which i can relate to even more. |
