probably relating this more to myself than of objectively viewing this song but.. i met this girl a few summers ago, we both went away to college, and she ended it due to the distance/another guy..whatever. i always tried to tell myself that it didn't matter, but in reality it really hurt. i think i'm over it, but there's always something that happens that makes me think what could have been. lame. more to this song: i think it's about understanding the relationship is over, but even while knowing that, you still have the slightest hope that it'll work itself out. |
