Panic! at the Disco – Do You Know What I'm Seeing Lyrics 16 years ago
yeah, i heard that too! although i also heard they had a kind of beatles wannabe kind of sound going also, and i think in that respect its removed from the beatles. i've heard beatles wannabe stuff, and it doesn't strike a chord with me like these lyrics do. you actually have to write very honestly in order to reach the creative level that panic seems to have reached...which may or may not have been aided by drugs...

Panic! at the Disco – She Had The World Lyrics 16 years ago
This is the kind of album you have to listen to multiple times in order to get the meaning that means the most to you, because honestly, i believe these lyrics are in their purest form of creativity in that they were written for multiple situations.

What i find important about this is the fact that there is no fault in either of them, but that there is a complete innocence in the girl's view of the singer and the other way around. The singer obviously has feelings for her, but they are both in such completely different worlds that there is no way they can love each other YET. "you could love me if i knew how to lie", if i could lie to myself and tell myself i knew what love was...

The Killers – When You Were Young Lyrics 17 years ago
well, whatever gender, i really liked idotswind's post about comparing your current life with your childhood, I think because we associate our childhood with worryfree thoughts we automatically think that there is some wisdom in what we believed when we were young. However, young minds are actually not mature enough to handle mature matter that we deal with when we are older and thus leads us to make irrational decisions like going for the guy who is romantic but breaks our heart in the end.
