The line " the iris of your eye will always shake it" is amazing. To me it means that no matter how you view a relationship with another person, you alone know deep in yourself (the iris of your eye)when you have hurt someone. |

While I agree that this song is about Ed,s failure to see love right in front of him, I believe he is more entranced by the fact that God provided human beings with the ability to give and receive such a beautiful gift. |
