So gorgeous... this song makes me cry. I try not to analyze it too much. And the words, they're everything and nothing. I want to search for her in the offhand remarks. Who are you, taking coffee, no sugar? Who are you, echoing street signs? Who are you, the stranger in the shell of a lover, dark curtains drawn by the passage of time? As dresdendoll (props on the name, by the way) put it- innocent, pure, and beautiful. |

| I love this song, which I feel is pretty unpopular. So soothing, and yet it really speaks to me. The part about the striking dark eyed stranger is beautiful. | |
| Vienna Teng – Enough To Go By Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I've always seen this song as being about a broken relationship, and the narrator is asking for forgiveness... the imagery that she's at her lover's back door begging to be let in, and the "castles and blazing speed-of-light machines" are references to all in her life that's fallen apart due to change, including the relationship. | |
| Vienna Teng – Harbor Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Sail your sea, meet your storm, all I want is to be your harbor. The light in me will guide you home, all I want is to be your harbor... so beautiful. She sings it with such abandon... this is how I want to be with everyone I know. | |

I love this song, especially the final bit: Hey love I am a constant satellite Of your blazing sun My love I obey your law of gravity That, to me, is just so, so powerful. Especially the way she sings it. I saw her live in Seattle a few months back and she did this song... I cried during this part. |

| Patrick Wolf – Augustine Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I've always thought that this song was a reference to De Sade's 102 Days of Sodom. One of the girls killed by the libertines was named Augustine, and this song definitely seems to have references to abuse, and lots of points that could coincide with the story. Of course, this song is gorgeous, and much more readable than 102 Days of Sodom. :P | |
