| U2 – The Unforgettable Fire Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Well i think it wouldn't be too outrageous to say that most U2 songs are about Love maybe the part about the Unforgettable Fire also has some allusion to Hiroshima because U2 also likes to use a lot of political implication in their songs. Considering that i think this song is mainly about passion and trying to forget an unrequited love or some sort of love Bono want's to go back to (fire can be a metaphor to passion so Unforgettable Passion definetly makes sense) Walk on by Walk on through Walk 'til you run And don't look back For here I am That part's almost like daring the girl to look back because she will never forget him. Bono is an incredible lyricist and he has the most beautiful voice (I imagine god sounds like Bono) This song is beautiful though he always has so much feeling when he sings. |

Issac is truly a genius he does an amazing job in all of his albums (including this one) to make sure that all of his songs come under a common theme up to the very name of the album Good news is probably their most "creative" album yet (not my favorite because i personally dont like the more leaning towards poppy sound) I think all of his albums up to this point have been a building up to this one. i'm guessing this song and all the songs on this album are about how he didnt really give a s**t about his life nothing really mattered he did drugs wrote songs made a living didnt really care until he met someone he truly cared about. But all of the drugs in the world did not help him at all to achieve that happiness. And this song is how not only are these drugs not helping him in his personal life they are actually killing him?? Modest Mouse isnt my favorite band but they are definetly one of the bands with i would say the most worth |

No Offense You are definetly wrong this album is just as great as the rest. Thats what i would call very creative and i'm happy if he actually did lay off the drugs (i'm not doubting him) then he will continue to make amazing music |
