| Two Gallants – My Madonna Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
And I'll drink just to drive if my love don't arrive. I don't wanna survive. I don't wanna survive. And all that I know is I smile just for show. And nobody's listening but everyone knows. i think that Two Gallants bring a certain poetry and i didn't want to say it, but "depth" to the modern music, now days its so hard to find bands who are truley artists, where everything starts to get watered down and diluted, they create the best music i've heard in my life. |

| yes i think it is about a drug addiction following him and he cannot cope with it and he's trying to escape but keeps on being reminded of it. i also agree with the split personlaity to some extend, possibly it could be his personality with and with out drugs? when he says after "left me hanging from the poplar tree...i never felt so free" he is refering to his pain being gone after death" | |
| Two Gallants – Fly Low Carrion Crow Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| the first time i heard this song i though it was about him seeing too much in his life and enduring misery with too much emotion, all he wishes is to be relived of his misery, for instance when he says "sieze my body for it lives no more" he is relating to the fact that all his hardships have left him empty and refering to his "ribcage brain" the fact that it is in "bars" like a cage within himself | |
