i think its just about having a bit of fun...theres an attraction but it hasnt been explored emotionally its in the early stages..having fun. i totally believe this when i listen but it also makes me think that the crush is developing. my favourite line is: 'it's raisin' my adrenaline you're bangin' on a heart of tin please don't make too much of it baby' here it captures the excitement of the current state of the relationship/crush but i get the feeling there is something in that heart of tin that could spark..there is potential but its being suppressed and acknowledging this could either develop the relationship further or make it deteriorate. all we can see from the other person is they are interested, we do not know how much or how little. |

LOVE this song..it makes me think somewhat of a relationship thats drifting apart for some reason, going through the stage of verging on breakup, feeling like that person takes up whats on your mind for the majority of the day and is holding ur life as you know it at the time together. Never the less that person brings alot of comfort when they are around..thing are amazing when they are good but somethings not working...'When I stare in your eyes its all gone'. 'Its only real when your not around' and 'only love can save us now' show there are feelings there but it will only work if the love is strong. My favourite lines are: 'Everything's hurting like before Without any meaning We're just skin and bone Like beautiful robots dancing alone' they dont know why its not working...there feeling all emotions the good the bad, confused, emotionally draining..to the point 'we're just skin and bone, like baeutiful robots dancing alone' it sounds like its a bit of an up and down relationship, hurting again but filled with fond memories. |

probably my favourite robbie song, possiby even more than angels. the verses make this song. when i heard the opening verse i was drawn in and i love it. very catchy and a generally great tune that yeh i agree alot of students can relate to. i love the line 'i look like kiss but without the makeup' haha |

the songs pretty obvous and has been summed up well. i would just like to add that i love how it end with simply 'but you're just a boy', highlighting the stigma attatched to boys that its almost ok or the norm for them to behave in such a way and so its passed off as oh there just being a 'boy'. as mentioned by someone else the use of man in a positive light only adds to this also showing what a proper man really is :) amazing song |
