| It's weird, this song brings nothing new to the table lyrically. In fact, if I hadn't heard the actual song while listening to the record, I'd be complaining on cliche it really is. However, the front man sings with such conviction, front even the opening lines, you can't help but be sucked into his pain. The way he goes from low to an almost falsetto ... dude is talented and he along makes the song remarkable. | |

I'm going to go against the grain here and say this is not actually a break-up song. I know he references life without the girl, but I think it's more of "what would happen" rather then what actually did happen or has taken place. As much as I hoped the lyrics were shallow and easily interpreted, I think there is another level here. I think he is actually complimenting the girl: “but time has been kind in a weird kind of way cause i've been waiting for this feeling to leave if i can hold on to this feeling this long maybe i could get you to hold me” Here for example, I don’t take that as they broke up. More of that he is waiting for this feeling of love to go away cause he’s never held it this long (or at all for that matter). He’s waiting for it to go away, but it never does. Coupled with the first four lines, I think he’s really trying, and he’s glad that she’s giving him a chance. “i wont be sorry if you leave me girl cause i'm the worlds biggest fan of cliches i set you free then i'll love like i'm not hurting in the worlds worlds worst ways but i don't know if i can make it alone and i don't have much more left to lose i can't say for sure just where i'll end up i just want to end up there with you” Here I think again, a “what if” scenario. He’ll be ok without her, but he would be devastated. He knows this, and knows that no matter what, he wants to be with her. He is basically looking toward the future, but because of his past, maybe always looks at it negatively instead of blissful. I could be way off here, and I’m cliché as well … in that I always look for the good. So I did the same with the song. One of my favorite off the Them Vs. You Vs. Me record, right behind Falling On and Paralyzer, and quickly climbing up my iTunes play count list. |

| Although it doesn't break down any new barriers, I think this song is #1. For once, i think the lyrics are better than the music behind it, and that is saying something for an Alt Rock track. Pretty straight forward, very relatable. I like the vocalists voice, think these guys got some real potential. Check out "Someone Like You," also by SafetySuit. | |

Right behind "Chasing You," this is my second favorite Nural track. Pretty straight forward, dude was down on his luck in regards to love, and when he wasn't expecting it, a new interest appears. These guys should be bigger then they are, great musicians. |

Excellent song, musically. Lyrics are straight forward and pretty easily interpreted: At the start, everything is great. Words are easily slung, both good and bad. Lust starts to fade, true characters are revealed. The relationship isn't give and take, it breaks down. One breaks free, the other breaks down. |

Truly a great song by Sense Field, in my opinion, only "Save Yourself" comes close in terms of lyrics and emotion. To me, the song illustrates almost a father/mother to child relationship, or something similar. But like most great songs, at least lyrically, can be applied to a few additional situations. Possibly a love relationship ... |
