wow! such a great song and no comments? The first time I heard it the lyrics reminded me of "Poisonous friend" by Seabound but perhaps only because of that line "you say i'm the worst friend ever". I think the song is so intense, about an on-and-off romantic friendship, in which both are hurting each other without even meaning to, perhaps as a way to protect their individual pride or something. I just love that line of "twisted story, too precious to be told", and "whatever you come up with, please try it out on me". kind of masochistic perhaps... |

| This is one of the best AAF songs... straightforward and also really true... it happened me once... that line "reached down in my chest and grabbed my soul" is a perfect depiction of lovesickness' pain... :D | |

| I don't think this is about Ian Curtis, not so sure what is about anyway... Sometimes I related NO songs to IC... but that's probably because those two thoughts are already in my mind so I can't freely listen and decide what is about... Some things seem to hint at it, anyway... like the constant "he", "the second look", "the leap ahead", "the hope kept alive", but I don't think that the parts "he'll remove all of your pain", "this worhy cause of human kind", "this open book yet to be read" suggest Ian Curtis... And it maybe that the "we" is not the band, but some kind of methaphor for something else... | |

| I don't understand why everybody comment this song comparing it to Radiohead (which is a band awfully overrated) or Coldplay (which is boring to death) This song is good, doesn't matter who did it... the lyrics are strong and the music is, well... conventional but fits the message... | |
