Lord of the Flies is about school boys who get trapped on an island and try to coexist and set up a civilization and mostly have fun......the main character meets another major character, pretty much the enemy who is the head of a choir of boys. This boy, jack, symbolizes evil and is conpared to a snake. Eventually shit hits the fan and the boys begin to go away from the main character and follow jack and the two tribes begin to compete. This competition leads to the death of several characters and exposes how, as the author believes, all men are essentially evil at heart due to thier natural insticts and through survivial of the fittest. |

She's always negative saying they have nothing in common and that thier lives are to busy to keep up this relationship. I think theres two ways to look at this song and the time he is singing about. Time punishing could either be interpretted as 1) time not changing fasting enough and him being stuck in a phase in his life and wondering when it will change or 2) Time changing too fast, washing away something he now misses. Either way he thinks time is cruel and doesn't believe in it, while also giving examples of why its cruel. |
