A Perfect Circle – Orestes Lyrics 15 years ago
Look at the URL for this song specifically....it's song # 666. Not really adding anything to the meaning or interpretation of this beautiful song. I just think whomever is the Admin or webmaster to this site might have a sense of humor.

Operation Ivy – Sound System Lyrics 15 years ago
One of my favorite OpIvy songs...lyrically it brings me back to the mid 90s when I was doing a lot of skating and constantly had headphones in my ears. Saw Rancid play it live once and about lost it. Still get a smile when I hear my favorite line:

...to resist despair that second makes you see
to resist despair because you cant change everything
to resist despair in this world is, what it is to be free...

I agree with Artus. My favorite Strung Out song: Lyrically and Musically.
Nothing more to say.

Strung Out – Lost Motel Lyrics 16 years ago
I remember when I first heard this song before American Paradox came out.....I was really upset that it didn't make it to the album, but the song still remained in my top 5 favs by Strung Out. The harmonies and simplicity of the chorus always hit a note with me that was hard to let go. I have to agree with BoyAfraid's interpretation of this song. If not direct suicide by checking out, maybe indirectly by chemical or alcohol overdose. If you've ever been in a run down, wrong side of town lost motel....you're usually not there for business or pleasure. You're there because you need a wake up call to change your life around. But like mentioned before, a very good metaphor.

Bananarama – Cruel Summer Lyrics 17 years ago
I agree with billyperry, definitely makes me think of daniel-son trying to blend in with the valley high school kids. Great song from the 80s. I think the lyrics are self explanatory.
