| I thought this song is at least partially about a couple who've been together for too long and are starting to wear on each other; at least on-sidedly so. Now they are having just another breakfast, a part of a boring routine; and one of them doesn't feel anything about the relationship. (Perhaps that's where the refrain steps in? Was there ever love, even for 15 minutes?) | |
