A Rocket to the Moon – Like We Used To Lyrics 15 years ago
This song is depressing as hell =/ But I don't think she cheated on him. I think that they were probably young and each other's first love, and maybe hadn't gone all the way yet. "Oh we took it slow" And one night they got very, very close, but didn't. And he's upset that she shared that with someone else. "It should've been me inside that car. It should've been me instead of him in the dark"

And at the end of the video, when he's with another girl, it's just him doing what she's doing--trying to move on. But he's clearly still in love with his ex.

Saosin – It's All Over Now Lyrics 16 years ago
Obviously, It's about suicide. Someone pushed him away and he let them, without realizing what it would truly do to them, and now he's responsible for their death and feels the full weight of his guilt and regret.

Tori Amos – Winter Lyrics 17 years ago
My dad is currently dying
And with this, I can honestly say I deeply connect with this song
Because I do believe it is about her father leaving her through death.

The first part is her reflecting on her childhood, being "daddy's little girl", and how close they were then. The innocence of the first verse is clear. We all remember what it's like to be a little kid, so excited and so naive about everything. The sleeping beauty part is part of her imagination, but her realizing that her father can't be around forever.

The chorus is about her finding herself, and about her father finding himself as well, and how they learn to cope with eachother as each gets older. I believe that even though she feels they are drifting apart, she'll always want him around, because of course, it's her dad.

The second part is about maturing, and how she really doesn't want to. She wants to be daddy's little girl forever, where she is comfortable and secure. "Years go by and I'm here still waiting, withering where some snowman was" She wants to stay in that time period and keep those feelings of that little girl.
The mirror verse reflects how she views herself, and how she views the world now that she's older. All the fairy tales are gone, and it's time to face reality.

"hair is grey and the fire's are burning" means that her father is getting older and time is running out for them, and all that they hoped and dreamed for eachother and their relationship. They both clarify that they are indeed proud of eachother, which to me indicates that they had grown apart, and needed to clarify to eachother what is happening and the love they still feel for eachother, and the relationship between them that will always be there, whether he is or not.

In the last chorus, "all the white horses have gone ahead" - he dies.

I fully intend to play this song at my father's funeral, and I only got these interpretations through my own experience as of right now.
