I believe this song is about a relation ship where both messed up, but the guy messed up more. He doesn't know whether or not that the girl will forgive him, she goes back sometimes but in the end she leasves because she can't handle it. The guy wants the clear answer from the girl "Will you forgive me" but she is indecisive that it seems like now she is playing with the guys mind. The guy messed up but now he realizes why he likes this particular girl but wishes that he never hurt her and that she had found someone that is better than him. Thats what I got |

"He had a plan to kill you all along, The evidence was hidden in this song, I was a ghost, I was there at the scene, As the embers rise, my hands, Smelled like gasoline," I read this part as the driver driving into the other person, the driver was drunk and he knew that if he took the chance on driving home or wherever that someone will die or get hurt but him. The ghost being the person who witnessed the crash, knowing how if he can switch spots he would in a heart beat. "My hands smelled like gasoline" He now lives with the taint of the wreckage and will the smell ever go away? "So, the headlights murdered my thoughts, I curse this taste that's on my tongue, This taste will last until I rip it out, No, I won't need these gloves, Her bones are withered away, but your ghost will remain." The lights are something he will never forget about, seared into his brain unless he himself takes death to find peace. Her body was burned but yours is still able to receive burial? She took the precaution for a safety device that is suppose to save her life. We see this death and take life for granted? Someone as pure as you had to die? I don't the rest though :/ |

The first time I heard this song, I couldn't believe I was still standing. This song is so emotional in any way you want it to be, Friends, Love, Relationships, and much more. A girl showed me this song because she didn't want to lose me. I play this song now everyday for someone I have lost (Ex) because she made me the happiest guy after a year of upsets.
