cycnusia has a good idea on this song... but in my own interpretation: this song is about a girl who you care soo much about but she is always depressed and sad(tired) and you wish she would get better and come to you for help because you know that you can heal and help her, but you can only wait...and wait... and wait " one of these days, i pray it will be some time sooon, on a day like today, you'd be crazy not to want me to teach you the way...." i'm goin' thru the same thing rite now, and im just waiting......... |

for me this song is about trying so hard to build a relationship with a girl and to get things started with her and she doesn't seem as interested and even tho the guy keeps trying even tho the girl slowy drifts away and doesn't really care, finally the guy accepts the reality...."oh i try, they can't say i didn't try".... im still not shure what the real meaning is tho :( |

this is my all time favorite song in the world, my band covers it and i grew up listening to it....i beleive it is about chino who has finally had enough with life, i think possibly a girl who had just broken up whit him, and he is just decided to run away and drive somewere for no reason to think and get away, he brings along a friend or two and when he say " i dressed you in her cloths" i beleive that means he wishes the person next to him in the seat was his girlfriend who he terribly misses...i can relate to that perfectly |
