Maybe it's about a girl that really loves a guy but keeps letting him down. And she tries to get back with him and eventually he gives in 'she's got 15 ways to run around and track him down, he's got 15 ways to run around and try to hide', he always gives in but she always lets him down even though she really loves him. Maybe the number 15 represents 15 other men? Secretly a whoree???!

People have discussed this being about abortion; and I'd like to point out the album cover because it might tie in to this song if you believe it's about abortion. It's a baby, with a wire (I assume this is replacing an umbilical chord) and there is a scissors ready to cut the wire, a comparison to abortion because you're just cutting off the life supply.
I don't really know what this song is about tbh. Just thought I'd add that though :P |

I think maybe it's about a divorce that hasn't gone through.. "name that holds us together", maybe it's only the name that binds them and that they're both trying to just let go and forget "years we'll pretend we've forgotten"
And then he's scared that maybe he'll never even know her anymore "I'm afraid one day we'll drift so far/We'll wake up not knowing where we are"
Maybe the title refers to maybe a long weekend the couple spent back when times were good..?
Or maybe the attempt of divorce was on a weekend and the case just dragged on.
I don't know much about divorce so please don't be giving me sh-t. |

I'm not sure if it's aimed at communism, but it's definitely aimed at the Chinese govermnent who have, like Soviet Russia, called themselves communists and not been able to put true communism into practice.
