I like that explanation, alot. like i said in my reply above to madhattin, notice the connections to his songs, its all just a mind game with what hes trying to say and i love that. like the connection with the chorus in this song and the women singing in the song Fuck You Lucy! |

actually madhattin, cheeseburgers is correct in a way. the best thing about music is you can interpret a song any way you want, it all depends on how ur mind works. This song is considered by slug to be "an ode to hip-hop" in this song you notice the multiple lines that say "if i could show you, you would never leave it." Now go and listen to the song "Fuck You Lucy" and the women singing and the beginning and end of the song are saying "it leave never would you you shouw could i if." which if you havent noticed is the part in this song, just backwards. The song "Fuck You Lucy" is not about a woman either, there is actually no woman named lucy, slug said it himself. He has said it in other songs that lucy is simply, hip-hop. If you read the lyrics to "Fuck You Lucy" and really think about it deep, you can see how he is relating all of this to the hip-hop genre. The song talks about how his life with hip hop and where he is in the "game" of hip-hop. But you can interpret it in so many ways, i love that about music. try and understand the lyrics and you'll appreciate it alot more. long explanation i know, but just throwin it out there. |
