Zujehy, thankyou for posting that interview! loved it! i love the backing vocals towards the end of this song - if you have watched the Hop A Plane video chapter on youtube you will know what i'm talking about - the 'take a moment, take a YEA-eeear' type-bit. love it, just wish it was more audible! my god i love this song. it makes me want to drop out of university, sell anything i have of value, move to Canada and spend my days travelling around Canada/North America. i know that he doesn't even speak of the places particularly positively but it evokes amazing images in my head and. wow. yeah. i love this song.

i always took this song to be about some kind of forbidden romance...that both parties are already in relationships and are having an affair - but they are in love with each other and find it hard to resist. 'sorry i met you' - because it's hard to stay away from each other/the meeting place. and so on.
