I think this song is about a guys who are obsessed with football...and its about her being left out by some boy who is obsessed with football. I don't think this about gay rights. If Amanda Palmer wanted to write about gay rights being denied, she would write about it without ridiculously elaborate symbolism. Just look at the rest of her stuff. Its all pretty literal. |
