Well, I mostly agree with selfishisgorgeous. however, a flume is a narrow gorge with a stream running through it (so sayeth Google), while I believe selfishisgorgeous was reffering to a flue, which is part of a fireplace. Regardless, great song. I think it is talking about the moon, explicitly, and perhaps memories that it recalls... |

| I like this song so much cause it reminds me of a particular person. She graduates from college in about a month, and I couldnt be any happier for her. She has worked hard, and imo, she is good at what she wants to pursue. To do that, she basically has to leave, though, and will be travelling constantly as part of her profession. Ive known her wishes for a long time, and basically its kept me from telling her exactly how much she means to me, cause I wouldnt feel right making it hard for her. She knows, Im fairly certian, but perhaps Im a little to weak to say it. To me, Karen is saying that she doesnt want this person to leave, and although she may have strayed a little away from them, she is still there, and that they both come from the same place, the same stock, the same heart, and that those maps - guiding the other away from her - dont love her as much as she does. | |
