| Alejandro, the lead singer, wrote this song to the girl he is meant to be with and is going to spend his life with. He said that he hasn't met her yet but this is his way of telling her that he is "on his way". It is an amazing song. You can really feel his emotion. Incredible. | |

Andrew did an interview where he went through the meaning behind a few of the songs on the new album. He said that Hammers and Strings is about his first piano that he had through soemthing corporate and the beginning of Jack's. If you went to any SoCo concerts it's the upright piano he used. He said he recently moved and had the room to buy a grand piano so he wasn't going to be using the piano very much> so he wrote her (the paino) a lullaby about their relationship together. As any musician will tell you, their instrument becomes more to them than just the music it produces |
