God everyone on here is so stupid. Class of '99 was a short lived supergroup made of Layne Staley ( Alice in Chains) Tom Morello ( Rage against the Machine) the drummer form Janes Addiction and some bass player. They did a cover of this song for the Faculty soundtrack, and it is there only song ever recorded. Now everyone stop whining like a bunch of pussys and do some research! |

Ok, this song is about the main character killing his drug dealer, burying him and losing sleep over it and not being able to relax. " Got the mud beneath my shoes" is a reference to the mud he got from burying him, "gun in hand" to how he killed him, and the "gotta get away " lines are a reference to how he feels about the whole situation. Not really sure about the boy named sue part, but i know for a fact that is what this song is about because this what Scott Weiland said himself about the song. |
