He wrote this song about Tara. They dated for like 2 years. She pretty much bailed on him his senior year. She was already graduated. This was one of their first songs, and took a long time to actually finish. He wanted to spend as much time as he needed to make sure it was perfect. So it's not about him "thinking" it wasn't enough. It just wasn't. As much as it sucks, that's how that whole thing worked out. Sooo that's the story behind this...and like every other song of theirs. I know this, because while you're all obsessed with them, I actually know them. Oh and Grant is who I'm referring to by the way. |
